Robert B. Pattie; 28 years old of Denver, CO formerly of Silver Lake, WI passed away Sunday April 14, 2013 at Littleton Adventist Hospital as result of injuries received in a motorcycle accident. He was born August 24, 1984 in North Chicago, IL, the son of Roger and Deborah (Welzen) Pattie, living in Silver Lake, WI before settling in Denver in 2010. Robert proudly served in the US Air Force and the Army Reserves. Robert was a member of Holy Cross Church, Wilmot, and enjoyed snowboarding, playing the drums, traveling, and was a motorcycle enthusiast. Robert loved being a firefighter/paramedic, starting his career with Silver Lake Fire and Silver Lake Rescue, later joining the Town of Salem Department, and then joining the Department at Buckley Air Force Base in Denver, CO.
Survivors include: his parents: Roger and Deborah of Silver Lake, WI; a sister Rebecca Pattie of Silver Lake, WI; his special friend Haley Donaldson of Denver, CO; grandparents; Chester Welzen of Wilmot, WI and Jane Pattie of Aledo, TX; Aunt Shari (Mike) Reilson of Wilmot, WI, Uncle Kevin (Christine) Welzen of Twin Lakes, WI; and many cousins, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Barbara Welzen and Lyle Pattie.
Funeral services with Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Monday at Holy Cross Church Hwy C & Hwy B, Wilmot, WI. Interment with military honors will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1PM until 5PM Sunday at the STRANG FUENRAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL 60002.
